Police Chief Jackson Ames

Jackson Ames - Enoch City Police Chief

Jackson Ames was chosen by the city council as the new Enoch, City Police Chief. He replaced Dave Browning who retired. Jackson was serving as a detective. The city will look for a new detective.

Pioneer Day Carnival 2010



The Pioneer Day carnival was held on the lawn just east of the LDS Midvalley Chapel. There was a Dutch oven dinner, games and music.

Pioneer Day Parade 2010



The Pioneer Day parade was held on Midvalley Road at 4:00 pm on the 24th of July, 2010. It started on Old Enoch Road and ended at the LDS Midvalley Chapel. It included many floats as well as covered wagons, horses, vehicles, a fire truck, an ambulance, lawn mowers and more.

Magic Show with Magic Mike

Magic Show in Enoch Utah

A free magic show was held at the Enoch Library on Wednesday, July 21st, 2010. Magic Mike encouraged the kids to read and to be selective with their books. He had the kids recite "Read 20 minutes a day" followed by two claps and a "Booyah!" He had kids participate in some of the magic tricks which included making the correct USA flag appear with a really LARGE wand, making a live kangaroo appear, dumping water out of a urn, making a table float, changing objects into a dove, eating toilet paper and taking out colored paper and making blank coloring pages appear colored.

Mud Mania was held next to the Old Enoch Park. Kids could play in the mud, including volleyball.
